FAQDo I need a partner for lessons or practice parties?
No. Most students do not bring a partner to our group lessons or practice parties. Men and ladies are encouraged to dance with different partners throughout the lessons and parties.
What shoes should I wear for ballroom dancing?
Wear comfortable shoes, but not sneakers. Leather soles work better than rubber or non-skid soles. You may eventually want to purchase some dance shoes. See our links to places in Atlanta to buy ballroom dance shoes.
What clothes should I wear for dancing?
Dress comfortably in clothes that allow freedom of movement. Our Friday night practice parties are dressy casual. A few times a year we have a formal dance on a weekend evening. It will be highlighted in our calendar and on this website.
Does Atlanta Dance accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We accept cash only for payment into the parties. We appreciate your understanding in this matter, this will help keep the costs down and allow us to have as many parties as possible.
